Virginia Chapman agrees that ‘Virginia is for Lovers’ but she
actually hails from the sunshine state in Jacksonville, Florida.
What she does love is anything to do with stamps! She has been
scrapbooking for several years but her true love is creating art
from stamps.Her style while eclectic, typically shows a true love
of distressed or shabby chic, vintage flair. She can surprise you
though when she mixes up her style up though with such things as
zombies, gothic, steampunk and mermaids. You just can’t label this
chick!
She describes herself as an artist but loves to let people think
she is a Robocop! Having raised two children who are police
officers, she seems to think that she also has a badge and can stop
crime herself. She tells hilarious stories of her experiences while
riding along with her children on the job. The kids tend to make her
tone down her crack pipe finding skills so as to not be shown up by
their mom! She’s previously been a foster parent and she has adopted
children and biological children creating a family that is a mixture
of cultural diversity. Don’t tell her that her children are now all
grown adults because she refuses to take off her “Mom” hat and will
tell them that real quick….Taser, badge, gun,….it doesn’t stop her
from always being their Robocop Mom.
