Penny says; "This card started when I found the pocket discarded in the
school library wastebasket--oh no no no, can't allow that! Home it came with
me.

Penny says: "This was so fun to make! The envelopes are marked in with
charcoal pencil."

Images used: All words and tiny mug are from our Word Salad
sets; CK-120-CC, Candy Kiss; CK-014-E, Spoon.

Penny says: "My friend is having a chocolate-themed potluck gathering, and I
made this for her to use for a door prize--they'll come tied together in a
set, with envelopes. Card #1 is a lot of patterned papers, with "chocolate"
stamped in the central frame, attached with ribbon and tiny orange brads; #2
a kiss stamped in a purple tag, mounted on a larger purple tag, attached
with ribbon and brad; there's patterned paper down the middle, and a lot of
Word Salad stamps in the background; #3 is more of those word salads, with a
spoon and a tiny mug, "I love you" tag is attached with a mini brad, a prima
flower, and paper from a Hershey's Kiss; #4 is the kiss stamp again, with a
little floral thing, and "joy" stamped in a tag and attached with a tiny
blue brad. Are you hungry now?"

Images used (all partial, top to bottom, left to right):
FT-326-J, Lucienne; FT-040H, Penelope; FT-369-H, Keriann, FT-076-H,
Galiena.
Images are lightly painted; edged with DTP - black and sage; fixed
to a panel of cream cardstock (stamped once with a large background
stamp from Buzz and Bloom); attached to a purple panel of textured
paper with gold minibrads and one little prima flower; then all is
fixed to a background of textured floral white cardstock. |
The idea here was to stamp on little squares of
cardstock--about an inch square--and assemble them into a larger block.
Penny used cardstock with a very faint grid pattern.

The words "boy" and "joy" are from Word Salad Set
#3.
Source of other images: background stamp - American Art Stamps; little figure -
Zettiology.
Penny says: "We're using this as a new baby card."

Images used from our Authentic Vintage Postal Markings Sets
#1 and
#2.
Penny says: "This is a baby shower card made from postal cancellation stamps...
the inside says "Have a Happy DELIVERY!" I picked out a few of the stamps
that clearly said "delivery" to stamp in darker inks, then filled in with some
others in paler inks like lavender, pink, lime. (It's a girl, thus the
flowers in the circle-punched window.)"

The "wonder" word stamp is from our
Word Salad Set #3. Penny writes: "The skirt
here is tulle, and the silvery part is wrapping paper. In real life it's
accordion pleated and very 3D, but that's hard to capture while scanning."

The six cards above use word images from our
Word Salad Set #3.
The Song Card also features Lucienne Plays, FT-326-J, $4.50.
