| When I was growing up, art was always a huge part of my life. It
all started with coloring on my parent's living room walls at the
age of four. I got into trouble often for doodling on things I
wasn't supposed to, like walls, important papers and photos. I
loved art all through school and decided to go onto college to
pursue a career in art education. Having a father who was a
teacher helped steer me into the education field. I went on to
the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and received my Bachelor of
Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in art education. I am
certified to teach students kindergarten through twelfth grade.
I then continued my education to receive a Master's Degree in
educational leadership with an emphasis in educational
administration.
In my free time I enjoy doing freelance work. Pen and ink
as well as watercolor are my favorite mediums to work with. |
